Meet Vern.

At the heart of it all, I’m a husband, dad, grandfather, coach, and lifelong learner who believes people are worth investing in.

Mission & vision.

Mission

I exist for the purpose of creating safe spaces for people to hear and trust God's voice inside them, bringing clarity to their life mission.

Vision

I envision a growing host of men and women personally pursuing Jesus, whose deepening intimacy with Him creates relational ownership, making the health of their inner lives their most powerful Kingdom witness.

Core values.

  • Every table starts with my own seat. I stay in pursuit of Jesus first, not as preparation for the work but as the source of it.
  • Intimacy with Jesus is proven in how I show up with people. I take ownership of my relational impact rather than managing my image.
  • I invest deeply in my family and others, helping them hear God's voice, discover their life mission, and live it with confidence. I cultivate my inner life with Jesus because I believe it is my most powerful Kingdom witness.

Personal bio.

Vern and Darlene Esh together outdoors

I’ve been married to my best friend for over 30 years, and some of my greatest teachers in life have been our four amazing kids, a daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters. They’ve been raising me as much as I’ve been raising them.

I’m a Canadian at heart, a lifelong hockey player, and a mechanic by training. My years in the automotive and hydraulic repair industries taught me the value of hard work, problem-solving, leadership, and getting my hands dirty. I’ve also had the opportunity to serve in management, leading people and teams in demanding work environments.

My journey eventually led me from fixing things with my hands to helping people navigate the deeper places of life. I earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling and have spent years walking alongside people in counseling, missionary care, church leadership, and personal development.

Today, I serve as a coach and encourager. I love helping people discover what is already inside them, listen for God’s voice, find clarity for their life and relationships, and believe again in the possibilities God has placed before them.
